Now that spring is really here, how about stretching those mental muscles and turning your hooks and needles in new directions? Our spring and summer programme is full of events and workshops to give you a taste of things you may not have tried before.
There are more details on the Groups and Courses page, but here are some highlights:
In May we have new beginners crochet courses starting on Friday afternoons and Thursday evenings, we’ll be having a stall at the craft fair at Formby Library on Saturday 13th and an informal workshop/get-together on Sunday 21st.
June will be a big month, with The Big Woolly Weekend on 10/11th – we’ll be celebrating World Wide Knitting in Public Day on 10th with a Pic Knit in Fomby Pool gardens, followed by a spot of yarnbombing to leave our mark! Then on Sunday 18th a small group will be heading down to Siobhan’s Crafts to try our hands at dyeing.
A short refresher crochet course will start on June 29, July will bring the Formby Festival on 15th and 16th where we’ll have a stall and lots to do…
